Strong Hitting Leads Howard Over Volleyball

WASHINGTON, D.C. - Howard University hit .478, and the Bison defeated Loyola University Maryland volleyball in three, 25-9, 25-19, 25-13 on Tuesday night in non-conference action.

Khalia Donaldson put away 18 kills with just two errors in 26 swings to hit .615 and lead the Bison (9-3 overall). Overall, Howard had 37 kills and only five miscues in 67 attempts. Tamia Dockery posted 27 assists to lead the team.

Molly Jarvis and Ann Ernst each had five kills for Loyola (3-5), while the Greyhounds recorded a .075 hitting percentage. Zoe Pawlak added four kills.

The Greyhounds return to action in the National Capital area on Friday and Saturday when they play at the Mason Invitational in Fairfax, Virginia.
