Final Stats

PITTSBURGH, PA -- Loyola fell to 0-3 in the Duquesne/Robert Morris Tournament Saturday afternoon, as it fell 3-1 (10-25, 18-25, 15-25) to the home Dukes at the Palumbo Center. Duquesne (3-0) continued its undefeated run in the tournament.

Nina Camaioni fell just one kill shy of a third straight double-double with nine kills and 10 digs. Brittany Born also had double-digit digs with 12. Karlee Woodward had just one kill but tallied three blocks, one solo and two assisted.

Freshmen Katie Dircks and Taylor Koncelik added five and four kills each. Dircks also chipped in seven digs while Koncelik added a block.

Loyola kept all three sets close in the beginning, but failed to spark a rally. The second set was close until the final minutes as costly errors led the way for a strong offensive attack by the Dukes.

The Greyhounds conclude play in the event later this afternoon with a final game against Radford at 3 p.m. back at Robert Morris' Sewell Center.
