PRINCETON, N.J. - In her first-ever appearance at the ECAC Outdoor Track and Field Championships, Loyola University Maryland senior, Kiera Harrison, ran the 10,000m with a time of 37:05.10.
Harrison had a fantastic season, after making her debut in the 10,000m event back in April at the Penn relays, where she shattered the program record by nearly a minute. Practically a week later, Harrison helped the Greyhounds to a fifth-place finish at the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Championships. Loyola totaled the most points in school history, thanks to Harrison who tied for the most points, helping the team with 16 of its 74 total.
The senior distance runner also leaves Loyola with the ninth fastest time in the women’s 6K for the cross country team.
Harrison finished 13th among 30 competitors in the 10,000m on Friday in Princeton, N.J.
