4x200 Relay Team Sets School Record At Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA - The Loyola University Maryland 4x200-meter relay team set a school record at the prestigious Penn Relays on Friday afternoon.

The Greyhounds' team of Courtney Marro, Angeline Diamond, Marissa Buccellato and Kristina Krupa ran a time of 1:47.48 to improve on the time of 1:49.89 set last year by the team of Lauryn Granara, Samantha Westley, Krupa and Whitney Gibbs.

On Thursday, the women's distance medley relay team of Emily Doucette, Krupa, Jacqueline D'Antonio and Alyssa Doyle competed at the Relays, running 12:18.36.

Loyola continues a full weekend of action tomorrow at the Lions Invitational, hosted by The College of New Jersey.
