Baltimore, Md. - Loyola's sprinters had a strong day of competition in the meet versus Navy on Thursday. The Greyhounds saw the most success in the 1600 Sprint Medley Relay with all three relay teams breaking the current Loyola record in the event. "Our Lady Greyhounds had a great day on the track," Head Coach Jackie Truncellito said. "You can't go to Navy's new indoor facility and not run fast times."
Doucette also competed in the 800 meter and saw improvement with a 2:25.00 time for third place. Audrey McGonigle finished at 2:29.70 in the same event.
Maureen Wynne and Kate Cervo competed in the 1 mile run and took the number three and four spots in the race. Wynne finished at 5:17.79 and Cervo crossed the finish line at 5:18.00. Stephanie Gibney ran a collegiate PR with a 10:57.61 time in the 3,000 meter.
