New York, N.Y. - Loyola junior Maureen Wynne and freshman Lindsay Wilson posted solid times in the 3,000-meter race at the New Balance Collegiate in New York on Friday afternoon. Wynne posted a personal best, while Wilson improved on this season's times to give the Greyhounds good representation in the race and at the meet.
"Both Maureen and Lindsay ran well today," said Head Coach Brett Harvey. "Maureen really closed out the race and is building confidence heading into our conference championships. Lindsay is also getting better with each race."
Wynne crossed the finish line in 10:18.25, placing third in her heat. Wilson, meanwhile, posted a time of 10:24.8 in her section. Wynne and Wilson are now second and third all-time at Loyola at the distance.
The rest of the Greyhound squad will compete at Bucknell tomorrow.
