Criqui Sets Personal Record On First Day Of The Armory Track Invitational

NEW YORK CITY - Senior Charlotte Criqui and the Loyola University Maryland women's track and field team competed on the first day of the Armory Track Invitational on Friday afternoon.

Criqui led the Greyhounds with a personal record in the 500m race, finishing 45th with a time of 1:20.34. Rookie teammate Emma Dunleavy also competed in the same event, taking 48th in 1:22.15.

Veteran distance runner Anna Bosse was the final individual to compete Friday evening, crossing the finish line in 18:34.15 (21st).

The quartet of Sarah Askine, Jessa Laspesa, Kelly Maguire and Kendyl Fahmy finished the day's events competing in the distance medley relay. Loyola finished 19th with a time of 12:49.66.

A select number of Greyhounds continue on at the Armory Invitational on Saturday, while the remainder of the squad travels to the Lehigh Valley to compete in the John Covert Classic hosted by Lehigh University.
