ANNAPOLIS, Md. - Freshman Nicole Gilhuley set the school record with a sixth place finish in the 800 meter run as the Greyhound women's track and field team continued its season with a strong effort at the Navy Invitational on Saturday afternoon.

Gilhuley broke the record by recording a time of 2:32 in the 800 meter run, while Kelly Wolf finished in seventh place and Katie Guglielmo followed in eighth place.

Junior Andrea Rovegno earned a second place standing in the mile run by crossing the line with a mark of 5:11.10. Freshman Maureen Wynne earned seventh place in the 3000 meter run with a time of 11:02.28 while freshman Melanie Mitchell recorded a height of 4'9" in the high jump.

"This was our first meet back from a long holiday break," Loyola Coach Julie Culley said. "We needed to shake the rust off our legs and I think we did just that."

The Greyhounds return to action next Saturday at the Maryland Invitational.
