Women's Tennis Sweeps Manhattan 7-0; Men Fall 5-1

BALTIMORE, Md. - Loyola's women's tennis team won all six singles matches and both doubles matches en route to a 7-0 victory over Manhattan while the Greyhound men fell to the Jaspers by a score of 5-1 on Friday afternoon.

Meaghan McKenna and Christi Lazar combined to win at No. 2 doubles 8-1 while Claire Najour and Stefanie Clay won at No. 3 doubles 8-0.

Amy Nitch (No. 1), Jessica Liberatore (No. 2), McKenna (No. 3), Lazar (No. 4), Najour (No. 5), and Clay (No. 6) all won their singles matches in straight-sets.

The Jaspers men gained revenge for their female cohorts as they took five of six singles showdowns from the Greyhounds to clinch the win.

Loyola's women improved to 6-4 with the win while the Greyhound men fell to 9-6.
