Women's Tennis Falls To Marist In Rain-Shortened Affair

Poughkeepsie, NY - The doubles portion of the match was cancelled due to rain, but all Marist needed was singles competition to upend Loyola by a score of 5-1 in a Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) women's tennis showdown on Sunday afternoon.

Loyola's Claire Najour earned the only point on the day as she defeated Amy Albert by a score of 8-1 at No. 5 singles.

The Greyhounds fell to 5-4 this season with the loss.
