Women's Tennis Rolls Past Morgan State

Baltimore, Md. - Carolyn Pilkington led Loyola to its second straight spring victory with wins in No. 1 singles and doubles for Loyola at Morgan State on Tuesday afternoon. The Greyhounds take a convincing 7-0 decision, winning in straight sets.

Pilkington and Kaitlin Russo combined for an 8-4 No. 1 doubles victory while Amy Nitch and Jessica Liberatore took No. 2 doubles by an 8-3 count.

Pilkington then won her No. 1 singles match with 6-4, 6-1 scores. Russo won in No. 2 singles (6-4, 6-2) and Gina Turturiello clinched the victory with a win in No. 3 singles.

The Greyhounds improve to 5-1 overall and open the home season with Delaware this Saturday at 1 p.m.
