Nov. 10, 2004

Baltimore, Md. - Loyola senior defender Lindsay Tracey was named to the Soccer America Team of the Week as announced by the publication Wednesday. The honor comes after Tracey led the Greyhounds to their fifth consecutive Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference title.

Tracey, a corner stone of the Loyola defense, held both their opponents in the MAAC tournament scoreless by defeating Iona 4-0 and Rider 2-0. Tracey was named the Most Valuable Player of the tournament and just a day before had been named second-team All-MAAC.

The captain will lead her squad into this week's NCAA College Cup. The Greyhounds face Maryland on Friday, November 12 at 5:00 at Penn State.
