Caitlin McCusker Named Second-Team All-District 2 All-America by CoSIDA

Baltimore, Md. - Senior women's soccer player Caitlin McCusker was named to the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA) ESPN The Magazine Academic All-District 2 second-team for women's soccer. Selections were voted on by members of CoSida based on academic performance and success on the field.

McCusker has appeared in 76 games as a Greyhound, starting in 57 of those contest. She has scored three goals from her defensive position, all game-winners, and added three assists. McCusker was named second-team all-MAAC in her sophomore and junior season. She has earned spots on the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference all-academic team the last two seasons as well.

McCusker, a history major, and the rest of the Greyhound squad face Siena Friday afternoon in the opening round of the MAAC Tournament. Loyola is the No. 1 seed in the tournament while the Saints are the No. 4 seed.
