EDISON, N.J. - Loyola College sophomore goalkeeper Brittany Henderson was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference Women's Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the third time this season today, the conference office announced.
Henderson directed the Greyhounds' third-straight shutout on Saturday, as Loyola (5-5-2 overall, 2-0-1 MAAC) handed Rider University a 1-0 defeat.
The Commack, N.Y., extended her personal scoreless streak to 255:12 and the team's to 300:12 in the match, as she finished with one save.
Henderson now has a 1.17 goals against average and has stopped 83.5-percent of the shots opponents have put on-goal this season. she has two solo shutouts and played half of another.
She was also named the MAAC Defensive Player of the Week on September 10 and was the co-Defensive Player of the Week on September 24.
