Baltimore, Md. - Senior Ali Andrzejewski was named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference's Offensive Player of the Week as announced by the conference office Monday afternoon. She earned the award after scoring five goals in three games as well as breaking Loyola's career goal record.
Andrzejewski scored the final goal in a 3-0 win over Penn on Wednesday and added two in a 5-1 victory over conference opponent Marist on Friday. Her two goals against the Red Foxes' tied the school's all-time record in goals and points scored at 28 and 63 respectively. Andrzejewski went on to add two more goals in a 3-1 win over Siena to break the record. She now holds both marks at 30 goals and 67 points after just 33 games as a Greyhound.
The Greyhounds continue their MAAC schedule on the road this weekend as they travel to Iona on Friday and Fairfield on Sunday.
