Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College women's soccer team will take a quick break from its conference schedule to host Lehigh on Tuesday, October 3 at 3:00 on Diane Geppi-Aikens Field. The Greyhounds are 2-5-2 on the season after a 3-0 win over Rider Saturday while the Mountain Hawks are 5-5-0.
Loyola is currently led in scoring by senior Carolyn Kennington with three goals and three assists. Kennington, who holds the school records in points and assists improved both marks with three assists in Saturday's game. She now has 81 career points and 25 career assists and is six goals away from breaking the school record.
Kennington is followed in scoring by freshman Colleen Kinealy with two goals and one assist. Senior Courtney Arikian also has two goals on the season while freshman Christina Gomez has a goal and two assists. Theresa Ferraina and Heather Cooke each have an assist as well.
Loyola goalkeeper Brittany Henderson has a 1.4 goals against average and saves percentage of .727. She has posted three shutouts this season.
The Mountain Hawks wins this season are over Marist (2-1 OT), Quinnipiac (1-0), Monmouth (1-0), LaSalle (2-1 DOT) and Lafayette (1-0). Their losses have come at the hands of Stony Brook (3-2 DOT), St. Joe's (4-3 OT), Montana (2-1), Delaware (2-1) and Princeton (5-0).
For Lehigh, Daniela Molina leads in scoring with six goals and an assist. She's followed by Natalie Hojnacki with three goals and two assists. Lauren Calabrese has two goals this season while Hailey Coonrad has a goal and two assists. Gina Lewandowski and Jen Fetsick have each scored once.
Goalkeeper Julie Kafka has a goals against average of 1.69 and a saves percentage of .743 with three shutouts.
