BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland women's soccer program has announced that it will host a one-day fall clinic on Saturday, Oct. 25, at 3:30 p.m., from Ridley Athletic Complex.
The objective of the camp is to provide prospective student-athletes with the opportunity to train, play and be coached by the Loyola women's soccer staff. The players will get a realistic impression of what it takes to compete at the collegiate level.
Coaches and instructors focus on improving individual techniques and skills, with an even greater emphasis on understanding the game and the player's role within a Division I program.
Camp participants get a chance to work directly with Loyola's staff, while interacting closely with some of the current college players. During the one-day camp, perspective student-athletes have the opportunity to experience soccer at one of the best facilities in the area, Ridley Athletic Complex. The camp takes place one day before the Loyola women's soccer program hosts the United States Naval Academy on Sunday, Oct. 26, at 1 p.m.
