Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College women's soccer team comes home to play in Baltimore after five straight road games to start the season. The Greyhounds, fresh off a 1-0 win at Maryland, host Richmond Sunday on Diane Geppi-Aikens Field at 1:00.
Richmond is winless on the season to date, posting a 0-6-1 record. The Spiders have posted losses against West Virginia, Rutgers, VCU, James Madison, Princeton, Penn and most recently tied Longwood. Kristen Stalter leads the team in scoring with two goals on the season.
The Greyhounds are 1-3-1 on the season after topping Maryland Wednesday night. Loyola is led by senior Carolyn Kennington with two goals this season. Her two goals have given her the Loyola record for points in a career with 76. She also holds the assist record at 22 and is seven goals away from breaking the all-time goals record. Classmate Courtney Arikian also has a goal this season while newcomers Christina Gomez, Theresa Ferraina and Heather Cooke each have an assist. Goalkeeper Brittany Henderson currently has a 1.72 goals-against average and a .679 saves percentage.
