Women's Soccer Participate in Arizona State's Heather Farr KICKS Against Breast Cancer Invitational

Tempe, Ariz. - The Loyola College women's soccer team remains in Arizona this week and will participate in Arizona State's Heather Farr KICKS Against Breast Cancer Invitational this weekend. The Greyhounds play Saint Louis on Friday and face No. Florida State on Sunday.

In the opening game, the Greyhounds face the Saint Louis Billiken's at 7:00. SLU is 1-1 on the season after falling to Duke 3-1 on August 25 and topping Missouri State 2-0 on August 29. The three goals scored by the Billiken's have come from three different player; Maureen Hughes, Dee Guempel and Cassi Winchell.

The Seminoles, who are ranked first in the nation by Soccer America are 2-1 on the season after topping Portland 2-1 on August 27. FSU will face Arizona State in the first round of the tournament and play Loyola on Sunday at 1:00. The Seminoles two goals this season were scored by Mami Yamaguchi and India Trotter.

The Greyhounds are 0-1 on the season after falling to Arizona State (2-0) on Monday but will look for their first victory this weekend.
