Current, Former Loyola Women's Soccer Standouts In Hunt For W-League Northeast Title

Two of the top players to come through the Loyola College women's soccer program over the past several years are on two of the team's contending for the W-League Northeast Division title.

>Ali Andrzejewski, who finished her Loyola playing career in 2005, is a forward for the Washington Freedom, and current Greyhounds captain Sarra Moller is a defender for the Jersey Sky Blue.

Moller's Sky Blue trail the Andrzejewski and the Freedom by two points for third place in the Northeast Division standings.

The W-League, the women's soccer chapter of United Soccer Leagues, features 41 teams from around the United States and Canada.

Moller, a three-time All-MAAC First Team honoree, has played almost 400 minutes in seven matches this season. She has totaled one goal on two shots.

Andrzewjewski, who is the all-time leading goal scorer at Loyola with 33, has seen over 440 mnutes of action in eight matches. While she has taken 25 shots, she has yet to find the back of the net.
