Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola women's soccer team has released its 2007 season schedule. The Greyhounds will play seven home games beginning with James Madison on August 31.

The Greyhounds will also have a number of challenging road trips, including back-to-back tournaments at Virginia Tech and Colorado College. The Virginia Tech tournament will run the weekend of Sept. 7-9 as the Greyhounds face Wake Forest and the host Hokies. At Colorado the following weekend, Loyola will play Marquette and host Colorado College.

In all, Loyola will be away from home from seven consecutive matches before returning for a four-game homestand with Bucknell rounding out the non-conference slate on September 30. Manhattan open the MAAC portion of the schedule for Loyola (10/5), while the October 28 match with Marist represents the final home game of the season.

The Greyhounds, who are 44-1 against MAAC foes in regular season games since 2002, close the regular season at Iona on November 4.
