BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland women’s soccer team gears up for the upcoming spring season, including the Headers for Hope tournament in Columbia, Md.
Headers for Hope was created to combine founder Louise Waxler’s passion for soccer and helping those with cancer. The organization works with teams and tournaments to raise money for local cancer charities.
When the Greyhounds play Old Dominion and University of Maryland on April 13, proceeds will benefit the Ulman Cancer Fund for Young Adults. Loyola will take on the Lady Monarch at 1:30 p.m., and the Terrapins at 4:30.
