Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College women's soccer team earned the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Team Academic Award by posting a cumulative grade point average of 3.30. The NSCAA requires a team GPA of 3.0 or higher average to receive the honor.
"We're really proud of the example the women's soccer program has set both in the classroom and on the field," said Colleen Campbell, Loyola's Academic Coordinator.
The Greyhounds finished the 2005 season with an overall record of 15-5.
