Women's Lacrosse Announces 2005 Overseas Trip

Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College women's lacrosse team are schedule to take an overseas trip in the summer of 2005. The Greyhounds trip to Scotland, England and Italy will feature contests against both the England and Scotland World Cup teams.

"I'm very excited about taking our team abroad and competing against the England and Scottish teams as well as our girls gaining some worldly experience," head coach Kerri O'Day said.

Loyola will play Scotland on May 28, 2005 and visit the English team on June 1, 2005.

The NCAA allows teams to take an international trip once every four years. The Greyhounds visited Australia in 1997, England and Ireland in 2001 and the next trip allowed will be scheduled for 2009.
