Baltimore, Md. - Senior Courtney Burhans and juniors Cara Filippelli and Abby Rehfuss were named the Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse team captains for the 2010 season, second year head coach Jen Adams announced today.
The trio was selected by a vote of their peers, as well as the Greyhounds' coaching staff for their inspiring presence on and off the field.
"I am pleased to announce our captains for the 2010 season," said second year head coach Jen Adams. "Each brings a strong sense of leadership, character, and work ethic that we are proud to associate with our program. I am confident that our captains are the right combination of people to represent and lead us into our exciting future."
