Baltimore, Md. - Loyola sophomore Kate McHarg was selected as a member of Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association second-team All-America. The midfielder led the Greyhounds in scoring this season.
McHarg scored 58 goals and added four assists and currently ranks second in the nation in goals per game. She also led Loyola in draw controls with 44 and recorded 34 groundballs. This season she posted a new career-high of seven goals in a 16-12 win over Penn. McHarg will partake in the World Cup this summer in Annapolis as a member of the Australian National Team.
Loyola finished the 2005 season ranked 20th in the IWLCA poll with an overall record of 5-11.
