Adams Featured On As One Of 50 Best College Athletes

BALTIMORE - Loyola University Maryland head women’s lacrosse coach Jen Adams has been featured by Sports Illustrated as one of its 50 Best College Athletes of All Time. 

As stated on, “The most prolific offensive player in NCAA lacrosse history, Adams is considered by many to be the best in her sport's history. A three-time National Player of the Year, Adams led the Terrapins to four national titles as part of Maryland's run of seven straight. Her 445 points and 178 assists top the NCAA record books.”

Adams is among 18 women on the list and one of just five lacrosse players. Adams and Kelly Amonte-Hiller, currently the head coach at Northwestern, were the only women’s lacrosse players to be featured, while Gary Gait, Adams’ assistant coach at Maryland and now head coach at Syracuse, was also included on the list.
