PROVIDENCE, R.I. - Loyola freshman midfielder Abby Rehfuss was named to the BIG EAST Conference Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, the conference office announced, following her performance in two games last week.
Rehfuss led the Greyhounds with five goals in the two games, scoring four times at No. 18 Cornell on Wednesday.
She added a draw control and two caused turnovers against the Big Red.
Rehfuss followed that effort with a goal, draw control and caused turnover versus No. 4 Syracuse on Saturday.
This season, Rehfuss is second on the team with 34 goals and 49 total points. She leads the Greyhounds with 15 assists and has tallied 27 draw controls, 18 ground balls and 15 caused turnovers this season.
The honor roll award is the first of the season for Rehfuss. She was named BIG EAST Offensive Player of the Week on March 17.
Rehfuss and the Greyhounds (6-9) take the week off before playing their final regular-season game on Saturday, May 3, against Maryland. Loyola hosts the Terrapins at 4 p.m. on Diane Geppi-Aikens Field.
