Loyola Greyhounds (5-3, 1-0 BIG EAST)
• Sophomore Marlee Paton leads Loyola with 17 goals and 27 points this year, while freshman Annie Thomas has a team-high 12 assists and is looking to break the all-time freshman record.
• Defensively, senior Kellye Gallagher leads the way with 31 ground balls and 23 caused turnovers, while classmate Ana Heneberry is looking to become the second Greyhound to record 100 ground balls and 100 caused turnovers, needing just one more of each.
• In goal, senior Kerry Stoothoff has posted a 9.78 GAA, while stopping 47.6 percent of shots faced.

Scouting Cincinnati (3-4, 0-1 BIG EAST)
• Cincinnati is coming off an 18-7 loss to Louisville in its BIG EAST opener on Tuesday night.
• The Bearcats are led this year by Katie Kirlazoglou's 24 points on 13 goals and a team-best 11 assists, while Laura Simanski leads the way with 19 goals. Seven players have scored in double figures for Cincinnati this year, including six with double-digit goals.
• Defensively, Simanski leads the way with 13 ground balls, while Katelyn Wttig has a team-best seven caused turnovers. Megan Bell won 11 draw controls against Louisville to move her season total to 43, also moving her into second in the BIG EAST rankings with 6.17 per game.
• In goal, Jennifer Walsh is allowing 14.79 goals per game, while stopping 35.4 percent of shots.

Series Record vs. Cincinnati
• Loyola holds an unblemished 4-0 record in the series with Cincinnati.
• When playing in Baltimore, the Greyhounds are 2-0 and 1-0 at Ridley Athletic Complex.

Scouting Notre Dame (7-0, 1-0 BIG EAST)
• Notre Dame brings an unblemished 7-0 record into the weekend and a No. 6 national ranking. The Fighting Irish will play at Rutgers on Friday before traveling to Baltimore Sunday.
• Maggie Tamasitis leads the attack wtih 37 points on 10 goals and a team-best 27 assists, while Lindsay Powell leads the way with 23 goals.
• Defensively, Margaret Smith has 16 ground balls, 21 draw controls and 14 caused turnovers.
• In goal, Ellie Hilling is allowing 9.92 goals per game, while stopping 47.2 percent of shots faced.

Series Record vs. Notre Dame
• Notre Dame holds a 5-2 advantage in the series, but the Greyhounds have won the last two - a 13-10 decision in South Bend, Ind., on April 3, 2011 and a 12-10 game in last year's BIG EAST Championship game on May 7, 2011.

• Thomas finished the game tying a career-high four points on two goals and two assists. She also added one ground ball and one draw control.

Freshman Records
• With two assists at No. 13 Georgetown, freshman Annie Thomas moved her rookie season total to 12 to tie Colleen O'Keefe (2007) for 10th on Loyola's all-time freshmen records.
• Thomas needs two more to move into third place with Rachel Shuck (2002) and Grace Gavin (2008), while three more assists will move her into a tie for second with Abby Rehfuss (2008). Janet Eisenhut holds the freshman record for assists at 19 from 1980.

• Senior Kellye Gallagher leads the nation in ground balls (3.88) and caused turnovers (2.88) per game, while senior Ana Heneberry is ranked tied for 13th with 1.88 caused turnovers per game.
• Senior goalkeeper Kerry Stoothoff is ranked in the top 50 of five statistical categories, including being tied for 15th in ground balls per game (3.00). Stoothoff is ranked 21st in save percentage (.476), tied for 26th in saves per game (8.5), 28th in goals allowed (9.78) and is tied for 31st in saves (68).
• Freshman Annie Thomas ranks tied for 41st in assists per game, dishing out 1.50 per contest.

Free Lacrosse
• In two overtime games this season, Loyola is 2-0 and has scored three goals while giving up zero.
• The Greyhounds scored two goals at No. 14 Penn State, while they scored one at No. 13 Georgetown.
• Loyola's defense has also been impressive in OT, stopping four shots, while opponents have one save.

Thomas' Overtime Goal Gives Loyola Win at Georgetown
• Freshman Annie Thomas scored with 37 seconds left in overtime to lift Loyola to a 15-14 win in its BIG EAST opener against Georgetown. Senior Kerry Stoothoff preserved the win for the Greyhounds, stopping a point-blank shot with 17 seconds left and running out the clock.
• Ten of Loyola's goals game from freshmen in the game, including four from freshman Hannah Schmitt.
• Defensively, Stoothoff earned her 17th career 10+ save game, and third of the season, stopping 11 shots.
• The win marked the first for the Greyhounds in Washington, D.C., since 1979. It was also the third overtime game played between the two programs in the last four meetings at Multi-Sport Field. Georgetown won 9-8 in 2006 and 12-11 in 2010.

Adams Among National Lacrosse Hall Of Fame Finalists
• Head coach Jen Adams is one of 24 finalists up for induction into the National Lacrosse Hall of Fame, as announced by US Lacrosse. The Class of 2012 will be announced prior to Memorial Day weekend.
• Adams, a 2001 graduate of Maryland, joins her former collegiate head coach Cindy Timchal (now the head coach at Navy) and former teammate Quinn Carney (now an assistant at Maryland) as finalists. Kelly Amonte Hiller (head coach at Northwestern), Julie A. Dayton, Missy Foote, Elaine Knobloch, Leslie Blankin Lane, Sarah Nelson, Carin Peterson, Susan Billheimer and Maggie Vaughan round out the women's finalists.
• The men's finalists are Roy Colsey, Jake Curran, Brian Dougherty, Thomas W. Hall, Jesse Hubbard, Steve Mitchell, Tim Nelson, Robert Shek, Robert V. Shriver, Richard Speckmann, Brian Voelker, and Michael Watson.
