BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland women's lacrosse team has earned a top-10 preseason ranking in Lacrosse Magazine's NCAA Division I women's lacrosse preseason rankings. The Greyhounds have been selected 10th in the poll, which was compiled by Lacrosse Magazine staff after consultation with college coaches.

The Greyhounds will face eight teams ranked in Lacrosse Magazine's preseason top-20, including five that are ranked ahead of them. Loyola will open the season with a game at No. 7 Virginia, before returning to Baltimore to face No. 19 Princeton. No. 5 Florida, No. 15 Towson and No. 18 Navy will also visit Ridley Athletic Complex, while the Greyhounds will travel to No. 8 Penn State, No. 9 Georgetown and No. 3 Syracuse throughout the season.
