Women's Basketball Faces Wake Forest

Winston- Salem, N.C. - The Greyhounds look for win No. 3 Tuesday against the Demon Deacons of Wake Forest at the Lawrence Joel Memorial Coliseum. Loyola is currently 2-6 while Wake is 8-1. The Greyhounds have been on the road for the first seven of eight games to date this season. With their eighth road game at Wake Forest, Loyola will return home for back to back home contest.

Loyola is 0-1 against the Demon Deacons after Wake Forest defeated the Greyhounds at Reitz Arena last season 66-51.

Loyola is currently led by Katie Scherle with an average of 8.5 points a game. Krystle Harrington follows with 8.3 points a game. Scherle also leads on the boards with five a game. Harrington leads in the assist column with four a game.

Wake Forest lists four players in double-digits with Porsche Jones leading the way with 15.8 points a game. Cotelia Bond-Young follows at 14.3. Liz Strunk is third with 13.6 points a game and Erin Farrell rounds out the Wake players in double-digits with 11.3 points a game and a team-high 8.1 rebounds a game.

Sophomore Ebony Toliver and Wake Forest junior Cotelia Bond-Young will face each other for the second time after being teammates at Elizabeth Seton High School.

Game time for Tuesday's game is set for 11:00 a.m.
