Baltimore, Md. - Senior guard Kerri-Lynn Orsini's hard work this summer did not go unrewarded. Orsini volunteered at the Ronald McDonald House in Manhattan this summer and was selected as one of the eight volunteers to participate in "An Evening with the N.Y. Giants".
On Monday, October 17 she will participate in one of the biggest fundraises for the Ronald McDonald House at the Park Avenue Country Club. Orsini was selected out over approximately 100 volunteers for the benefit at which the entire New York Giants team, including the coaching staff will appear.
"I am so honored to have been picked as a volunteer and to work for such a great organization," Orsini said. "These children are the true heroes and it has been the greatest experience to work with them and their families at this trying time in their lives."
Orsini begins the final season of her career at Loyola when they open the 2005-06 campaign versus VCU on November 18.
