BALTIMORE - Loyola University Maryland women's basketball head coach Joe Logan has announced the team's 2015-16 schedule, a slate which will include five non-conference opponents that advanced to postseason play during the 2014-15 campaign.

Loyola's non-conference slate will feature 11 contests against teams from 10 different conference affiliations. Reitz Arena will be the venue for four of those matchups, while the Greyhounds will also face two opponents for the first time.

Loyola will begin its 44th season of play at Lipscomb University on Friday, Nov. 13. Located in Nashville, Tennessee, the Tigers' campus is only two hours from Chattanooga, the hometown of senior forward Jeneh Perry. Villanova will host the Greyhounds on Monday, Nov. 16. The Wildcats closed out the 2014-15 season with an overtime loss to West Virginia in the final round of the Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT).

The Greyhounds will open their home slate two days later (Wednesday, Nov. 18), facing a familiar foe in Fairfield University. A former Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference opponent, the Stags are no stranger to Reitz Arena, as Loyola boasts a one-game advantage over the Stags (13-12) at home.

The Greyhounds will remain in Baltimore for their next two games. Norfolk State University visits first on Saturday, Nov. 21, before the College of William & Mary -- coming off a 15-win season and its first-ever postseason appearance -- comes to town on Monday, Nov. 23.

Loyola closes out the month of November with the start of a four-game road swing. The Greyhounds travel to Columbia University Saturday, Nov. 28, to take on the Lions for the first time since 2007. Loyola then heads to Old Dominion University on Wednesday, Dec. 2. The Monarchs have made a postseason tournament in 22 of the past 24 seasons, most recently playing in three-consecutive WNIT tournaments. The last time the two teams met, Loyola recorded its first postseason victory in the first round of the WNIT on March 16, 2011.

The Greyhounds return to the state of Maryland on Saturday, Dec. 5, for a Loyola-Mount St. Mary's men's and women's basketball doubleheader in Emmitsburg. Three days later, Loyola returns to the XFINITY Center for the second-straight year to take on the 2015 Final Four participant Maryland Terrapins Tuesday, Dec. 8.

The Greyhounds will take the next two weeks to break for final exams, before hosting UMBC Sunday, Dec. 20. Loyola will then play in its final non-conference game of the regular season, traveling up north for a matchup against St. Francis Brooklyn Tuesday, Dec. 22. The Terriers are coming off a monumental season, winning their first Northeast Conference (NEC) title.

The Greyhounds open their third season of competition in the Patriot League on Wednesday, Dec. 30, hosting 2014-15 Patriot League Tournament Champion American University. The schedule wraps up with the league championships, Saturday, March 5-Saturday, March 12, with the title game being televised on CBS Sports Network.

All dates and times are subject to change.
