Loyola College's women's basketball team continued its commitment to community service this summer when senior Meghan Wood and sophomore Erica DiClemente accompanied Strength & Conditioning Coach Rob Taylor to Thunder Hills Elementary School to teach fitness to fourth grade students.

Students learned stretching, warm-up, basic aerobic and conditioning exercises to help keep them in shape over the summer.

Wood, DiClemente and Taylor demonstrated many of the fundamental skills Loyola student-athletes use to increase their flexibility and strength throughout the year.

The fourth graders then applied what they learned by participating in the exercises and other games taught by the basketball players.

Thunder Hills is a part of Howard County Public Schools and is located in Columbia, Md.
