Baltimore, Md. - This summer junior forward Meghan Wood participated in Loyola's International Business Seminars Study Abroad Program. The international marketing class traveled to Germany, Italy and Switzerland as a part of their studies.
Throughout their trip, Wood and her classmates studied different aspects of International Marketing, which included international business affairs, dealing with international customers, financial banking and exchange rates.
Highlights of Wood's trip included a visit to Venice where she enjoyed great food and beautiful scenery, Rome, where she learned about the vast history of the city and Switzerland.
"It was a great experience and I fully enjoyed experiencing new cultures and meeting new people," Wood said. "This experience will help me in the classroom throughout my college career, as well as in the work place once I graduate."
