Baltimore, Md. - Loyola's Paul Richards and Meghan Wood have been selected as Strength and Conditioning All-Americas by the National Strength and Conditioning Association. Richards and Wood are two of 239 collegiate athletes from 165 schools recognized with the annual award.
Richards is a senior on the men's lacrosse team, who according to Loyola strength coach Rob Taylor, "has been an emotional leader since stepping on campus his freshman year." Wood, a senior on the women's basketball team, "set a new standard for work ethic, consistently working on her game, body and mind," says Taylor.
The NSCA All-American Athlete of the Year Award program is in its 29th year, and is made possible by Power Systems, Inc.
