BALTIMORE - Thanks to victories in its final four regular-season games, the Loyola University Maryland women's basketball team will host the school's's first home Patriot League Championship quarterfinal game on Monday, March 7, at 7 p.m. against the United States Naval Academy.
The Greyhounds finished the regular season 11-7 in league play to earn the third seed, while the Midshipmen enter the tournament as the sixth seed after going 9-9 in conference play.
Tickets for the game are on sale now via Ticketmaster, with prices starting at $4 for a youth, senior citizen or student (all ages up through college with valid college identification) general admission ticket. Adult general admission seats are just $8, and reserved courtside seats can be purchased for $10. Tickets purchased can be held at the box office for in-person pickup during business hours between now and tipoff Monday. The box office is open until 7 p.m. Friday and will reopen at 11 a.m. Monday. There is a purchase and print at home option available online as well.
The ticket policy for Loyola students, as well as for University faculty, staff and administration, will remain the same as it was during the regular season. Students will receive one free ticket to the game, while faculty, staff and administration can request up to two free tickets.
There will be a pregame campus community tailgate starting at 6:30 p.m. in McGuire Hall featuring free food and refreshments for faculty, staff, administration and students. In addition 500 free t-shirts will be given away to members of the campus community who attend the game.
