Baltimore, Md. - Sunday the Greyhounds host Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference leader Marist. The Greyhounds have just two more home games this season including Sunday's contest and look to improve their record against the Red Foxes'.
Marist has won the last seven games in the series with Loyola to take an 18-10 advantage in the series. The teams have split the conference series just four times in 12 total seasons.
THE LAST TIME THEY MET
Loyola fell behind by as much as 18 in the second half but rallied to come back, ultimately falling 65-56 on Jan. 16. Lauren Troupe led the Greyhounds with 16 points and a game-high eight rebounds. Krystle Harrington added 10 points while Brittany Dunn chipped in nine.
Fifi Camara led the game with 23 points for Marist. Meg Dahlman was second with 14 points and seven rebounds. Alisa Kresge scored nine points, all on three point baskets.
SCOUTING THE RED FOXES
Marist is led by MAAC leading scorer Fifi Camara's 16.2 points per game and 7.8 rebounds per game. She is followed in both categories by Meg Dahlman with 14.7 points and 5.5 boards a game. Julianne Vivani is third in scoring at 8.5 points per game. Alisa Kresge is the team and the conference assist leader with 5.3 a game.
ABOUT THE `HOUNDS
Lauren Troupe continues to lead Loyola in scoring with an average of 11 points per game. Four of her teammates follow closely, ranging between 9.9 and 9.3 points per game. Jill Glessner is second at 9.9 and Jackie Valderas follows with 9.6. Valderas is the teams rebounding leader with 6.5 per game. Brittany Dunn and Krystle Harrington round out the top five with 9.3 points per game each. Dunn leads the team in steals with 2.2 per game while Harrington is the squads assist leader at 4.3.
With 15 wins to date this season, the Greyhounds have passed their win total from the 2004-05 season when they finished 10-18.
