Women's Basketball Hosts Rider for National Girls and Women in Sport Day

Baltimore, Md. - The Greyhounds look to extend their win streak to three this Sunday when they host Rider in Reitz Arena. Loyola (14-9, 9-4) was won its last two games and looks for a third against the Broncs (1-23, 0-13).

Senior Jill Glessner continues to lead Loyola in scoring at 14.7 points per game. She also averages a team-high 2.7 assists per game, is second in steals with 1.5 and third in rebounds at 5.4. Vika Sholokhova leads the team in rebounds with 7.5 a game while following Glessner in the scoring column at 11.3 points per game. Brittany Dunn is third in scoring with an average of 10.3 points an outing. She leads the team in steals with two a game on average and is second in assists with 2.8 a game. Meghan Wood rounds out the top scorers with 9.5 points a game and is second in rebounds with 6.8 an outing. The remaining `Hounds average between 5.9 and 1.3 points per game.

Rider is led in scoring by Janele Henderson's 10.1 points. Shaunice Parker follows at 8.8 points and posts a team-high 5.4 rebounds an outing. Kelli Sawyer adds eight points a game and Kara Borel 7.5 points while coming in second in rebounds with 4.9 a game. She leads the team in assists (1.9) and steals (1.3).

Loyola posted three players in double-figures en route to a 72-61 win over Saint Peter's. Vika Sholokhova led with 20 points and 13 rebounds for her second consecutive double-double. Jill Glessner added 15 points while Brittany Dunn chipped in 14.
