Women's Basketball Travels to Saint Peter's

Baltimore, Md. - The Greyhounds travel to Jersey City, N.J. with the hopes of improving to 8-14 overall and 7-6 in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference. The Peahens sit four spots below Loyola in the MAAC rankings at ninth place with a record of 8-13 and 4-8.

Saint Peter's holds a 31-10 advantage in the series between the two teams that began in the 1980-81 season. The Peahens won the first nine games in the series before the Greyhounds defeated them 64-59 in 1993. Last season, the series was split with each team winning at home. But Loyola topped SPC earlier this season at home, 79-69.

Katie Scherle continues to lead Loyola with 11.5 points and 6.8 rebounds a game. She is followed by Krystle Harrington with 9.3 points and 4.8 assists a game. Lauren Troupe is next in line with 8.3 points and a is third on the team in rebounds with 4.8 a game. Jackie Valderas rounds out the top scorers with 8.0 points and is second-best in rebounds with 4.9 a game.

Saint Peter's is led by Tiffany Jones 13.6 points and 2.1 assists a game. She is followed by Khalisha Lewis with 11.4 points and a team-high 8.4 rebounds. Kristen Hood rounds out the top three with 10.3 points a game. Elina Kalina is second in rebounds with 7.7 a game in addition to a team-high 1.7 assists per game.
