Today's Game
Today, Loyola (10-10, 6-5) hosts the Siena College Saints (11-10, 7-5) as a part of National Women and Girls in Sport Day. Today is also Breast Cancer Awarness Day on the Evergreen campus.

The Series vs. Siena
Siena holds a 20-13 advantage in the series with Loyola. Although the Saints swept the series in the 2002-03 season, the Greyhounds have already topped Siena once this season in Albany, 66-52.

Greyhounds Last Time Out
BALTIMORE, MD - The Greyhounds avenged an early season road loss Thursday night with a 64-57 win over Rider at Reitz Arena. Loyola had fallen to the Broncs in Lawerencville, 73-55 on January 6th. The Greyhounds, who posted four players in double digits in the victory, improve to 10-10, 6-5 while Rider falls to 4-16, 2-9.

The two teams went up and down the court more than five times in just under three minutes before point guard Krystle Harrington hit a turn around jumper at 17:09 for the first points of the game. The two team exchanged baskets for the next few minutes before the Greyhounds offense stepped on the gas, scoring 23 points in the next 11 minutes to Rider's seven.

Rider went on a 16-4 run to catch up to Loyola to trail by two at 13:58 but the entire Greyhound squad never panicked and remained composed to rebuild their lead for the win. Loyola scored the next seven straight points to gain a solid nine point lead (40-31) at 11:27 and never looked back.

Loyola was led by sophomore Katie Scherle with 16 points. She was followed by Lauren Troupe at 11 points and a team-high of seven rebounds. Guards Harrington and Lindsay Cobb each added 10 points. Jackie Valderas added solid play off the bench with six points, seven rebounds and two steals.

Leanne Moore led for the Broncs with 19 points and was followed by Becky Hower with 11 points and a game-high of nine rebounds. The Broncs committed 22 turnovers in Thursday's game, 14 in the first half.
