Baltimore, Md. - The Loyola College women's basketball team remains on the road this week as the `Hounds travel to Canisius Thursday and Niagara Saturday. The Greyhounds, who are in fourth place in the MAAC at 7-3, look to rebound from a loss to Fairfield Sunday. The Golden Griffs are in ninth place at 11-10 overall and 3-7 in the MAAC while the Purple Eagles are seventh with the exact same records.
ABOUT THE `HOUNDS
Loyola posts three played is double-figures, led by Jill Glessner at 14.7 points per game. Glessner averages a team-best 2.95 assists per game. She is second on the team in rebounds at 5.4 and in steals at 1.35 an outing. Vika Sholokhova follows Glessner in scoring at 10.9 points per game and ties the lead in rebounding with 6.8 a game. Brittany Dunn is third in scoring with an average of 10.2 points per game. Dunn is first on the team in steals with an average of 1.9 and is second in assists with 2.6 a game. Amanda Cavo is third in scoring with 9.9 points on average. Brittané Russell ranks fourth in scoring with 9.2 points a game and is second in board with 4.5 boards a game. She ranks first in steals with 2 a game. Jessie Lamparski is fifth on the team in scoring with 7.1 points a game and leads Canisius in assists with 4.1 a game.
