Women's Basketball Travels to Siena

Loundonville, N.Y. - Loyola returns to the road for Friday's game at Siena after hosting and winning three straight games at Reitz Arena. The Greyhounds hold the top spot in the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference with a 6-2 record while the Saints are fourth with an overall record of 8-9 and a conference mark of 5-3.

Siena holds a 21-14 advantage in the series with the Greyhounds. Loyola won the first game in this season's series 66-56 at Reitz Arena. Last season, the squads split the series with each team winning on the road.

Loyola is currently led by junior Katie Scherle's 11 points and 6.9 rebounds. Krystle Harrington follows with 9.9 points and leads in assists with 4.8. Lauren Troupe rounds out the top scorers with 8.6 points and 5.1 rebounds a game.

The Saints are led by Laura Menty's 12.7 points. She adds 5.8 rebounds a game. Katelyn Dooley follows in scoring with 11.3 points and leads the team in assists 2.9 assists. Whitney Cave leads in rebounds with 8.6.

Both Loyola and Siena faced Maryland and Virginia Commonwealth in their non-conference schedule. The Saints played the Terps just before Loyola with a 73-52 loss. The Greyhounds fell to the #22 Terrapins 77-36. Versus the Rams, Siena fell 62-51 while Loyola fell 67-46.
