Recap | Box Score

Head Coach Joe Logan -

"I was especially pleased with our effort, especially after a tough loss (61-59 against Marist) on Friday. To show the ability to bounce back was very critical for us today. Rider is tough because they keep coming after you. We sustained some of their runs and finally put them away.

On Meghan Wood's absence due to injury:
"Meghan Wood is the heart-and-soul of our team. She is the one that keeps us together out there. Her absence was mostly felt on the boards tonight because they outrebounded us 43-26.

On Vika Sholokhova:
"Vika struggled a little bit shooting the ball, but she was able to get to the line. She was good at making sure that she was able to score that way.

"We are young, and we have players that are used to having to score at the end of the games when they were in high school. No one has to do it on their own. We showed that we have better ability to share the ball and execute on offense tonight.

"Siobhan Prior had a huge three for us. We knew this year that with our threes, we were either going to be on or off. On the road (before today), we were off. We were 6-of-11 for 55-percent, today. We are going to get over 60 points, which we want to do, if we do that.

"We shared the ball well. To have 15 assists and 14 turnovers is good. We are going to be successful if we do that."

Junior guard Siobhan Prior -

"(The three I hit) was at a good time, but the best thing was that we didn't let go. We kept fighting because Rider didn't stop.

"Things are starting to click on the court now. We have had a great couple of weeks of practice, and it is starting to show in games.

"I am a lot more relaxed right now. Everybody played hard tonight, and we had a lot of fun, too."
