Men's Tennis Drops MAAC Tournament Match To Marist

Flushing, N.Y. - The Loyola men's tennis team dropped its opening round MAAC Tournament match to Marist at the U.S. Open in Flushing, N.Y. on Friday afternoon. The Greyhounds enter the consolation bracket after a 7-09 loss to the Red Foxes.

The Greyhounds dropped the doubles point with a pair of 8-3 losses and fell in straight sets on the singles' side. Junior Rob Palliser had the closest match of the day, falling 7-5, 6-2 at No. 4 singles. Freshman Tim Koch fell 6-1, 6-3 at No. 5 singles, and freshman Peter Edgar fell 6-1, 6-2 at No. 6 singles.

Loyola will play Saint Peter's on Saturday at 4 p.m.
