U.S. Soccer U-17 Team To Play Saturday At Loyola

BALTIMORE - The United States U-17 Men's National Team will play its final tune-up on Saturday, October 17, at Loyola University Maryland before departing for the FIFA U-17 World Cup later this month in Nigeria.

The U.S. U-17 side will take on Crystal Palace F.C. U.S.A, a professional team from Baltimore, at 10:30 a.m. on Diane Geppi-Aikens Field. Admission to the match is free to the public.

The Americans begin play in the World Cup on Monday, October 26, when they take on Spain's U-17 side in Kano, Nigeria. The U.S. will also play teams from Malawi and the United Arab Emirates during pool play.

Saturday's friendly will include Crystal Palace F.C. U.S.A. players from its USL Second Division roster, including Loyola Volunteer Assistant Coach Bryan Harkin.
