BALTIMORE - The Loyola University Maryland men’s soccer program has announced that it will hold its first Winter Identification Camp under first-year head coach Steve Nichols on Sunday, Dec. 7, 2014.
The objective of the camp is to provide prospective student-athletes with the opportunity to train, play and be coached by the Loyola men's soccer staff, in addition to other college coaches, in a highly competitive training and playing environment, while being exposed to a Division I men's soccer atmosphere.
The Winter ID Camp is a one-day experience open to all prospective student-athletes Grades 9 & up who have aspirations to compete at the college level. The camp will provide a quality training environment at the extensive Ridley Athletic Complex and will give players the opportunity to experience an NCAA Division I program firsthand.
There will be a recruiting information session, a student-athlete academic lecture and competitive small and full-sided games.
In the case of inclement weather, the camp will be moved to Saturday, Jan. 10, 2015.
