Baltimore, Md. - Freshman Phil Bannister and sophomore Milos Kocic have been named the Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week respectively. Bannister scored two goals and added an assist to bring his team-leading season totals to seven goals and three assists. He has 17 points after 11 games and his game-winner on Sunday at Marist marked his fourth of the season.
Kocic, meanwhile, earned two shutouts in goal while playing all 120 minutes. He made 10 total saves at Siena and Marist while garnering his fifth and sixth shutouts of the season. For the year, Kocic now has a 0.64 goals against average and a .848 save percentage. He has not allowed a goal since Loyola's 1-0 loss at Oregon State on Sept. 22.
