Princeton Soccer Classic Delayed For A Day

Princeton, N.J. - The 2005 Princeton Soccer Classic, featuring Loyola, Akron, Fairleigh Dickinson and Princeton been postponed due to wet field conditions and the threat of more rain today. The tournament, originally scheduled for today and Sunday has been moved to a Saturday/Sunday format with match-up modifications.

The location of Saturday's games have been changed as well as the order of the games to be played. Saturday's games will be played on a fieldturf surface at Mercer County Community College, while Sunday's games will be played on the Princeton campus at Lourie-Love Field.

Loyola will play No. 9 Akron at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 17, with Princeton playing Fairleigh Dickinson at approximately 5 p.m. On Sunday, Sept. 18, Princeton will play Akron in the first game of the day at 2 p.m., with Loyola playing No. 7 FDU at approximately 5 p.m.
