Loyola-UMBC Men's Soccer To Be Broadcast By NSCAA TV

Sept. 12, 2013

BALTIMORE - The National Soccer Coaches Association of America will feature the Loyola University Maryland-UMBC men's soccer game in its NSCAATV College Soccer Spotlight broadcast on Saturday, September 21, at 7 p.m. from Ridley Athletic Complex.

The game, which will pit two local rivals that as of today sport a combined 7-0-1 record, will be NSCAATV's featured game that night. After a victory yesterday, Loyola is now 3-0-1, while UMBC is 4-0-0.

Dave Johnson, who serves as Comcast SportsNet's television play-by-place voice for Major League Soccer's D.C. United and the radio announcer for the NBA's Washington Wizards, will call the action from Ridley; Keith Tabatznik, former head coach at Georgetown University, will be the color analyst for the game.

"We are very excited to be broadcast on the NSCAATV College Soccer Spotlight," Loyola Head Coach Mark Mettrick said. "This is a first for our program, and we feel this is a great opportunity to showcase Loyola, UMBC and Baltimore soccer on the national stage."

Additional information about the game and links to the broadcast will be available on
